Electro Station presents BIG Q-Pack No.12
It’s been a while since we didn’t post Q-Pack and I am sorry for being away from blog cause I had some giging this summer. I must say this summer was crazy with some wicked tunes and finally I can post some of the “tested” tunes that are sure body-moving-hands-up-shaking.
Enjoy the post and comment if you like some! Previews are on zippy!
^1 / Progressive House – Let’s start with a tune that you can start the night/set/radioshow. It’s amazing booty of Spiller’s classic track “Groovejet” and Abel’s “In My Eyes”. Perfect combination with well-known vocals from Groovejet and a tech twist. Just the right thing to make people dance! 8.5/10
^2 / House – Ok, there was some fake versions around the net of this tune. This one is full and it goes from Ibiza to Copacabana! Beautiful vocals with melting piano melody that is just must-have if you have any respect to house music. Groovy and a bit techy stomper that any serious DJ should have! 9/10
^3 / Soulful Deep Vocal House – Quentin Harris pretty much showed what is house music in 2010 with his album “Sacrifice”. Next to Dennis Ferrer and Sandy Rivera, one of the magicians in house music. Neat and smooth vocals by Thiwe and clappy rhythm that makes you head nudge all the time but still takes you to the some other place if you just close your eyes. 7.5/10
^4 / House – When I heard this remix of Sergio Flores I just thought there is hope for Bob Sinclar.
To be honest when you mix-up some african elements, violins with junky driving rhythm and a bit of vocals – you can’t fail. People goes mad with this one. Tested and approved on da dancefloor! 7/10
^5 / Latin House – Supernova who is getting in spot more and more this year, teams up with a legend – DJ Chus. You get a heavy brazilian-oriented track with well-chopped female vocals that have massive breakdown. Booty-shakin’! 6.5/10
^6 / Afro-Latin House – Carlos Silva brings us true summer tune with saxophone on top with repeating female “WORK IT” vocals. Crazy tune! 8/10
^7 / Jackin’ French House – If you like style of Riva Starr, Yolanda Be Cool & D-Cup or Gramophonedzie – this is track for you! Jackin’ straight to heaven with In-Grid on vocals. People just loved it, so give it a try!
7/10
^9 / Progressive-Tech House – This is true stomper!!! Irad Brant comes from Israel and he just released this massive tune for Sneakerz Music. Really nice sampling of Queen’s legendary track “Show Must Go On” in a breakdown. 7.5/10
^10 / Soulful House – Central Avenue is back with a true house tune featuring lovely vocals by Laura Estrada. Loving this Redsoul & Klimis Ioannidis edit that brings you back to the late ’90s when house music had it’s solid shape! If you like Freemasons, you will like this one!
6.5/10
^11 / Tech Vocal House – Dani Vars is on fire rocking heavy bassline and techy rhythm following the beautiful vocals by Diamond Sue in a breakdown. If you prefer rhythm over melody, this is just a track for you. Supported by Kurd Maverick, Roger Sanchez, David Penn… 7.5/10
^12 / Bigroom Vocal House – Classic Chris Kaeser if I may say – big piano synths with a sampled vocals and massive breakdown that makes you go to trance! Big one for some festivals! 7/10
^13 / Deep Tech House – Really refreshing tracks comes from Mendo’s kitchen. This one has some “Aaaaa” chopped samples with some ambiental african/south-american sounds in the backround. Still tune that doesn’t stop cause there is almost no breakdown.
6/10
^14 / Tech House – Italian guys under name NiCe7 destroyed dancefloor with this one! F**king incredible production that reminds to style of Uner, Coyu and Pirupa. Beautifuly sampled trumpets in combination with bumpy-driving rhythm and a bit of latin touch. 8/10
^15 / African-Latin House – Probably the track that I would miss If I haven’t heard breakdown. Finest percussion in this one with all the african/latin elements that will surely rock the beaches all around the world! 6.5/10
^16 / House – It’s really rare to find true house tunes these days… But this one is little gem with groovy rhythm with some nice FX. Something unique for your case.
7/10
^17 / Electro House – Really nice rework of classic track “Informer” that has original sample in a breakdown! Bring back the Jamaican ’90s! \o/ 7/10
^18 / Tech House – Amazing release by Tapesh and Mark Reeve for Defected Records. Grumpy bassline with catchy melody and interesting acapella. True stomper! 7.5/10
^19 / Wicked! Electro House – This song is really wicked in any sense. Something different at last with “BAM-BAM-BAM-BADA-BADA-BAM” vocals.
I really laughted to this one but people seem to respond greatly on the dancefloor! HOY! 7.5/10
^20 / Tribal House – Just release on Juicy Music, a classic latin track with massive tribal rhythm and killing breakdown! Don’t blow the speakers with this one! Really heavy bassline! 7/10
^21 / House – For the end my personally the best remix of Professional Widow! True house anthem! Enjoy!
9/10
